Goldstein Auditorium played host to “What’s on T.A.P.,” a tap dance show put on by T.A.P., the on-campus tap dance troupe. Along with T.A.P., other on-campus entertainment groups performed for the show. These included Main Squeeze, Danceworks, Orange Pulse, and comedian Jake Goldman.

Jones Beach State Park, Wantagh, N.Y. – The U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels performed at the 2008 Jones Beach Air Show. On May 24, 2008, Pararescue Jumpers of the 101st Rescue Squadron helped to represent the 106th Rescue Wing by performing a pararescue demonstration to record crowds during the 2008 Jones Beach Air Show at Jones Beach State Park, Wantagh, N.Y. The 106th shared the sky with the Navy’s Blue Angels, the U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team, and an Air Force F-22 Raptor fighter aircraft. A record 506,000 visitors attended the two-day event.
The Color Guard, Pararescue Jumpers, recruiters, and security forces personnel from the 106th Rescue Wing came out to support the Westhampton Beach, N.Y. St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 14, 2009.
David J. Murphy and his fiancée, Azucena “Susi” Ponce, spent July 4, 2012, together at several locations, starting their day at the Queens Zoo and concluding it with fireworks on 34th Street and 12th Avenue in New York City.
